Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Pricing will be accepted for snow blowers that utilize their own power source and are primarily intended for installation on wheel loaders, tractor loader backhoes, and agricultural or industrial tractors. Options for truck mounting will be allowed – however combination cab/chassis and blower packages will not be accepted – just as combination tractor, backhoes or wheel loaders and blower packages will not be accepted. (The state has separate contracts for cab/chassis, wheel loaders, backhoes, and tractors.) 2.2 Snow blowers must be complete and ready to operate, including any and all mounting hardware and controls. 2.3 Price for base unit shall not include female coupler unit or standard hitch system. These items should be included in Section 4.4 as an option. 2.4 Snow blower unit shall be delivered with one additional complete set of OEM air and fluid filters. 2.5 Manufacturer’s standard color acceptable, paint must be lead-free. 2.6 The Contract Vendor shall provide adequate orientation in mounting, removal, operation, safety, and maintenance of supplied equipment before the order will be considered complete. 2.7 Each snow blower unit shall be supplied with one set of parts, service, repair, and operation manuals. 2.8 The Contract Vendor shall furnish a standard manufacturer's warranty. The vendor shall be responsible for the cost of any inspections, adjustments, parts, labor, travel, pickup and/or delivery charges that are a result of equipment failure(s) during the warranty period. This warranty shall be stated on the pricing pages, and commence when the unit is put into service. 2.9 Vendor to ensure equipment meets all current federal and Minnesota safety codes.
