Specifications include, but are not limited to: Meet with DNR Project Engineer, and MnDNR staff for a project kick off meeting. Meeting location is at the MnDNR Two Harbors office. Review proposed concept, site survey, and hydraulic model information provided by MnDNR, including wetland delineation, permitting, and mitigation. Review the proposed design of the downstream C.R. 61 crossing structure to determine a compatible design of the rock arch rapids for fish passage, stream stability, headwater conditions, tailwater conditions, and velocity conditions. Identify all permits required to construct project. MnDNR will secure internal MnDNR permits. Assign responsibility for other permits whether MnDNR, consultant or construction contractors as is typical of the industry. MnDNR will assist in assignment as necessary. DNR will sign as the owner the wetland permits required by the US Army Corps of Engineers and for the Public Waters Work Permit.
