Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Respondent will pick up various specimen samples and perform the requested tests. The services will be purchased on an as-needed basis. The most commonly used tests are identified in the Exhibit F: Cost Proposal. • The Pathologist shall be available at all times and provide a response within one hour of being contacted by a MMCAP Infuse Member. • Laboratories must be able to document and provide a chain of custody process. Respondent shall be able to provide turnaround time reports to Members and MMCAP Infuse, upon request. Turnaround times must be listed for each test on the Exhibit F: Cost Proposal. • Respondent shall be able to securely transfer electronic data directly to the Member’s computer system while meeting HIPAA requirements. • Must have STAT pickups available within its service areas, specimens needing STAT pickups in metropolitan areas must be picked up within one hour after being notified of a STAT need. Unless otherwise authorized by the Member. • Respondent shall be able to provide specimen supplies and equipment materials at no additional charge including any labels requested.
