Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) is seeking Proposals from qualified Responders that can provide comprehensive law enforcement educational services to cadets participating in MSP’s annual LETO program. The curriculum pursuant to this RFP and resulting contract will focus on professional law enforcement career skills required for persons to succeed as a sworn peace officer in the MSP. The curriculum will not include generalpre-requisite coursework traditionally known in higher education as general education (Gen Ed) courses. The curriculum, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 626,843, subdivision 1(7) and Minnesota Rules 6700.0300, must meet or exceed the learning objectives for professional peace officer education (PPOE)established by the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST Board). The college or university must be currently certified by the POST Board to provide education leading to peace officer licensure.
