Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of the Project is comprised of the demolition and renovation of one existing laboratory room, 3-114, in Jackson Hall to house an optical imaging laboratory space. There is minor work in the adjacent corridor and ancillary spaces. This space will be used as a temporary optical imaging laboratory for approximately two years. Temperature control, air flow control and laser safety are the major project issues and have been addressed in the design. The Project consists of approximately 750 sf of upgraded mechanical and electrical systems, removal and replacement of the acoustical ceiling, addition of an eyewash and miscellaneous finish upgrades associated with the system upgrades.
