Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Remove and replace Existing Epoxy Floor System and Cove Base with a Double broadcast quartz epoxy system, integral cove base, and color to be mix of 4 parts white 1 part brown 1 part buff. • Existing epoxy will be removed to a point constant with Sealer System Manufactures Recommendations for use. • Sealing Concrete to prevent future floor system adhesion failure due to ground water moving up through concrete slab. • Use highest level of epoxy sealer consistent with preventing floor failure based on slab moisture test of 95% taken in January 2016 and with an assumption of experiencing higher moisture levels in the warmer/summer season. • Protection of all other surfaces will be take during removal of existing epoxy and installation of new epoxy using adequate drop cloths, shields, and protective methods to prevent disfiguring of all other surfaces. • Adequate protection will be used to prevent Removal Dust and or New Floor covering products from entering floor drains, duct work or other areas of the building. • Toilets, toilet partitions and benches will be removed and reinstalled by Dakota County. • County will provide temperature ranges in the building that meet the material manufacturer’s guidelines.
