It is expected that the concept plans will be developed in collaboration with the DNR Project Team. Multiple iterations may be required to proceed through the review process.3)The style or type of Rock Fall Wall that is currently being considered is a reinforced concrete barrier faced with either a stone veneer or dry stack matching that blends into the existing stonework within the park; however, the DNR Project Team is seeking the best design to incorporate all project considerations including cost and functionality.4)Concept plans will not be required for the rock removal project. However, as stated above, the preliminary plans will require both NPS and SHPO review and approval.B.Preliminary Plans:1)The preliminary plans will be developed in collaboration with the DNR Project Team.2)Preliminary Plan sets to include:i.Appropriate plan and profile and cross sectionsii.Design details and construction notesiii.Existing and final contoursiv.Estimated quantitiesv.Erosion control and best management practicesvi.Construction limits vii.Construction staging areas.viii.Pedestrian traffic control 3)Provide draft specifications.
