The Solicitation is for the following service and is divided into two Customer groups: A. Minnesota Department of Transportation - Regular Delivery Service. B. Cooperative Purchasing Venture Members and other State Agencies - regular Delivery Service. REGULAR ROAD SALT - TYPE I, GRADE I, ASTM-D-632 - MODIFIED PER MnDOT SPEC. 3910 as modified below: At the time of delivery to the Customer, the salt shall not contain more than 1.5 percent moisture, and it shall be free of lumps, aggregations, foreign matter and be free flowing. The salt shall always maintain free flowing characteristics. the sodium chloride content shall be a minimum of 95%. MnDOT Metro Area Guarantee: The MnDOT Metro Area will purchase a minimum of 80% of its total estimated tonnage awarded under the Contract and the Contract Vendor is obligated to furnish up 120% of the total estimated tonnage awarded under the Contract.
