Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Minnesota Department of Corrections is required by law to provide necessary health care to incarcerated individuals, including providing medical and mental health services to those incarcerated inside MN Correctional facilities. The Minnesota Correctional Facility in Togo is a boot camp located in a northern remote area. This contract would cover necessary emergency medical care if required, during the state’s nurse practitioner's absence or when the clinical procedures are beyond the nurse practitioner’s licensing authority. The incarcerated person would be transported to a physician's clinic or an emergency medical facility. It is the goal of this project that Minnesota Department of Corrections and a Contracted agency will provide medical care and pharmaceutical dispensing to all incarcerated individuals, across the gender spectrum, adult and juvenile, residing in Minnesota correctional facility Togo (MCF-TOGO) or committed to the care and custody of the DOC.
