Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project includes all parts, labor, permits and fees, electrical, plumbing, materials needed, equipment, all wall penetrations and refinish repairs needed, and debris disposal to demo and replace existing furnace and compressor unit, to include adding air exchanger and extending ductwork to new location as determined by owner. Demo existing furnace and existing condensing unit. 1. Remove existing furnace. 2. Remove existing condensing unit. 3. Remove existing refrigerant between the furnace and the condensing unit. Reclaim refrigerant. 4. Remove gas, combustion vent and supply air as required to accommodate the installed equipment. 5. Remove all electrical wiring and conduit back to the electrical panel. 6. Remove ceiling grid to accommodate demo and duct work. Provide and install high efficiency, furnace, heat pump coil, heat pump compressor, heat recovery ventilator and all ducting. 1. Provide Furnace, sized to area load calculations, 100,000 BTUH heating with minimum 97% AFUE, and modulating gas heat. a. Design basis= Carrier, Rheem, Trane, American Standard, Goodman b. Show calculated highest efficiency/lowest annual operating cost / Brand Reliability c. Energy star rated d. Variable capacity burner/heat/gas valve e. Electronic ignition f. Variable speed blower g. Provide combustion vent and supply air from the furnace to the existing concentric vent. h. Condensate plumbed to drain i. Digital seven day programmable controller incorporating mechanical operations j. Electrostatic filter k. Provide and install gas piping from the furnace to the existing gas line. 2. The modulating heat pump outdoor unit and coil shall provide 2.5 tons cooling, 19.2+ SEER cooling and 10+ HSPF heating efficiency and include refrigerant lines and properly fit and sealed wall penetrations. Level ground and set compressor on 6”risers on a 3”pad. a. Design basis= Goodman, Carrier, Rheem, American Standard, Trane b. Provide and install refrigerant line from the heat pump coil to the heat pump outdoor unit. 3. Heat recovery ventilator shall be dual core providing 200 CFM at 0.3” static pressure with a minimum 70% sensible efficiency at 132 CFM and -13 deg. F. a. Provide and install 10” round rigid intake duct for heat recovery ventilator from the existing outdoor air duct. The existing outdoor air intake bird screen shall be replaced. b. Provide and install the heat recovery ventilator 10” exhaust air rigid duct routed thru the existing concrete exterior wall with a gooseneck faced down.
