Specifications include, but are not limited to: Toilet Units: A. Shall be aesthetically pleasing as not to conflict with the visual character of the site. Earth tones are preferred. The State reserves the right to determine if the color is acceptable and to reject any unit on that basis. B. Shall be in good condition with no holes through the exterior walls or leaky roofs. The State reserves the right to determine if condition is acceptable and to reject any unit on that basis. C. Toilet shall be a one piece, plastic construction. D. Have interior latch for privacy. E. Provide maximum ventilation with floor vents, window vents and a high volume vent pipe. F. Sanitary seat deck and floor design. G. Anti-slip floor surface. H. No dangerous protrusions, edges or catch points ; Servicing Units: A. Units must be pumped as frequently as necessary to ensure that the vault capacities are not reached. This includes holiday weekends. B. The vendor is responsible for monitoring each unit. C. Each unit must be serviced at least weekly preferably on Monday and shall include: pumping out and recharging of holding tank, disinfect and wipe down of interior, and restocking of enough paper to last the week. If theft of toilet paper is a problem, then a locking device shall be used to prevent the problem. D. The vendor shall be solely responsible for the proper off-site disposal of any cans, bottles, litter or other foreign objects found within the toilet structure.
