Specifications include, but are not limited to: MDOC requires the Contractor to ensure the MDOC facilities have the proper registration, inspection, insurance and other paperwork for EGLE requirements, walk through inspections and training Class āCā operators as needed; removing manholes and checking fittings, connections, and containment sumps. Checking spill and overflow protection devices; opening all dispensers and checking for any obvious issues and checking dispenser containment; checking operation of tank monitor systems; checking all hoses and hanging hardware; and checking vents. All inspections will be coordinated and scheduled with MDOC point(s) of contact for each facility for coordination of inspections and quarterly reports will be sent to the facility (Class C Operators) and the Regional Sanitarians (Class A Operators). The State prefers a Contractor that is able to services all MDOC facilities throughout the State of Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula. Repairs and replacements of USTs or their support equipment are not part of this contract.
