Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design Services: The design services will include the following items: Provide Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents which will be used to construct the project with minimum errors and rework. The Consultant will be expected to provide the Contract Documents using their experience and industry expertise in accordance with industry best practices, national standards, and BWL standards. The BWL requires close collaboration with the Consultant. The Consultant is to be utilized as an extension of the BWL engineering staff rather than just providing an engineering service. The design process will include 3 review periods, where the Consultant will provide plans, specifications, project schedule, and a construction estimate to the project team for owner review. The Consultant will include the review periods in the project schedule at dates that are conducive to the demands of the project. The review periods will allow the BWL staff 2 week(s) to review and comment. The third review period will include the review of final plans and specifications. Construction Services: The Consultant will perform the following services during the construction of the project: 1. Attend Pre-Construction meeting. 2. Review and respond to submittals. 3. Respond to Request for Information (RFI) with adequate clarity and consultation. 4. Attend punch list walk through. 5. Attend weekly construction meetings. 6. Provide Bulletins as necessary. Additional services: No geotechnical services are anticipated for this project. If the Consultant requires geotechnical services the BWL will contract that work based on the Consultant’s needs. This will need to be identified in the proposal if required. The rental boiler contract will be separate from the engineering and construction of the infrastructure. However, the criteria of probable rental units are included here for information purposes only. Rental Units: Gas-fired, saturated steam boiler for generating steam at 275 psig with heat input limited to 100 MMbtu/hr or less, 75 kpph water tube “O”-Style boiler. Features: • Low NOX burners. • Flue gas recirculation. • Complete fuel train and pilot ignition system. • Burner Management System (BMS)/combustion controls. • Water column and site glass. • Steam pressure gauge. • Low-water cutoffs. • Field weld (FW) stop & check valves. • Chemical feed valve
