All station wiring shall have legible color-coding of conductors and be four (4) pair, Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP), 24 gauge. Voice cable must adhere to all performance specifications indicated for TIA/EIA Category 6A media as cited in TIA/EIA 568B standard. 3. Cable must be Commscope/ Systimax or Belden/CDT and must bear exterior jacket markings of “Verified Level 6A” or “Classified Level 6A”. 4. Horizontal work station voice cable shall be blue in color 1. Each station cable shall be tested end-to-end (from jack faceplate to associated patch panel for length, continuity, NEXT (near end crosstalk), impedance, resistance and attenuation. Testing shall be conducted with an Agilent Wirescope 350, Fluke DTX1800 or equivalent tester capable of performing the appropriate bandwidth/certification test. 2. The minimum standards for the system shall be: bandwidth of 45-1000MHz, a 43dB C/N ratio and a signal to noise ratio of 39dB and a signal level of 0-15dbm at each drop location.
