Specifications include, but are not limited to: This RFP is to address the current lighting issues within the Arthur Hill Memorial Football Stadium. This work is required to be done within current State of Michigan Electrical Code and will require the contractor to work in coordination with Consumers Energy to facilitate the requests of the Saginaw Public School District and to satisfy State of Michigan Electrical Code requirements. Contractors shall provide two separate bids for the two options covered below in the Scope of Work descriptions. If at any time that unforeseen circumstances should arise, that will incur additional costs, the contractor shall cease work and renegotiate the contracted price. Bids shall include all necessary permitting to complete work within all applicable State of Michigan, City of Saginaw, and Environmental Protection Agency codes. Option #1 Scope of Work Replace defective 15kv wiring from the grandstand electrical vault to the utility pole behind the grandstand. Install a 15kw pad mount, simultaneous disconnect switch (required by State of Michigan electrical inspector to meet current code) at the utility pole near the northeast corner of the stadium, adjacent to the Consumers Energy cut-outs. Coordinate and schedule with Consumers Energy and include proper inspections as required by the State of Michigan and the City of Saginaw. Option #2 Scope of Work Coordinate with Consumers Energy to remove existing Primary Metering System and install a 3 Phase Bank 277/480 Volt Metering System. Consumers Energy will include a 10’ underground service to a contractor installed, pad mounted, service-rated, simultaneous disconnect switch.
