Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will provide safe and effective use of herbicide (herbicide provided by the DNR) via aerial spraying. The application will be applied by the acre. The area to be sprayed will be defined by the DNR and provided to the Contractor. The DNR may also be on site and will work closely with the Contractor to determine the optimal time to perform the service. The DNR will provide a pesticide application plan which must be followed by the contractor. The DNR will also provide guidance on access controls, signage and public contacts. A DNR representative will evaluate whether the application was performed in the correct areas with the appropriate precision to avoid spray drift and damage outside the designated spray blocks. A DNR representative may observe the pesticide mixing process to be sure the proper chemicals are being used and that they are being mixed to specification as they see fit.
