Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), State Facilities Administration, is requesting professional engineering services to evaluate and recommend the needed repairs/replacement to the existing steam and condensate piping systems within the Michigan Reformatory facility. The current steam system is distributed within the facility through a low- and high-pressure service to meet heating, food service, domestic water, and laundry demands. The professional services will initially commence with an evaluation and development of a condensed Phase 300, Schematic Design, to identify deficiencies, confirm demand loads, and present the recommended scope of work within the construction budget. Subsequent Contract phases for Final Design and Construction Administration services may follow on the completion of the Schematic Design.
