Specifications include, but are not limited to:consultant with Integrated Marketing Skills expertise to recommend and implement an Ad Campaign across various media to target employers, MCB consumers, and eye professionals. The multi-faceted goals of this are to reach employers who we can potentially partner with in the future to increase successful and rewarding employment for our consumers. Additionally, we want to elevate awareness in the low vision and blind community of the services that we provide for our consumers and to encourage the legally blind to engage with MCB so that we can better assist them. Also, under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 6, Section 136, all eye care providers are required to report (within 30 days) all cases of legal blindness to MCB, so we want to reach eye care professionals and engage them regarding this obligation and make sure they know how to reach MCB. Also, we want to develop new and lasting relationships with eye care professionals so our consumers have options across the state. Additionally, the selected consultant would also work on developing the Project Pep Talk Video Series. The video series would highlight stories of successful Vocational Rehabilitation participants. It would result in various content as well as clips suitable to be compiled into PSAs etc.
