Specifications include, but are not limited to: (A) The operator of each recreational camp for children shall provide a program of activities and physical environment which shall meet the generally recognized needs of the campers and shall in no respect be in conflict with their best interests nor a hazard to their health and safety. (B) The operator shall release campers only to the camper’s parent or legal guardian or an individual designated in writing by the camper’s parent or legal guardian unless alternative documented arrangements are authorized in writing by the Board of Health. (C) The operator shall print on any promotional literature or brochures the following, “This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health.”
