Specifications include, but are not limited to: Preventative Maintenance, Inspection/Testing and Safety Inspections of Elevator Equipment. Part 2: Elevator Service/Repair/Parts, as needed basis. A current equipment inventory for each site will be distributed at the bidder’s conference. One annual state inspection/safety test will be performed within the appropriate fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). It is highly requested that these tests not be scheduled for the months of May, June, July and August. The contractor is required to notify the facility’s Director of Engineering Service at least 30 days before the scheduled test. The frequency of preventative maintenance, inspection and testing will be negotiated between the PTL, facility and the contractor. They will be scheduled for monthly, quarterly or other. The bid response sheets indicate their current frequency. This frequency may be changed at any time during the duration of this contract. Bidders shall respond as indicated. Contractor must perform as scheduled. There will not be any “catching up” service. For instance, if a facility is scheduled on a monthly PM and if the contractor did not show up in the month of November, the contractor will not perform 2 PMs in December in order to “catch-up” to the 12 per year. In fact, if the contractor does not perform as scheduled, this will be considered a serious poor performance measurement evaluation.
