Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of the renovation of a historic, four story, 26 unit apartment building built around 1907. Building Envelope work consists of re-roofing, masonry restoration with lintel replacement, and new windows and doors. A fully accessible ramp will be added to the entrance, and two first floor apartments will be reconfigured to be fully accessible. Other apartments will have minor reconfiguration with all new kitchens and baths. Building systems will be completely replaced, with the exception of the heating plant. All new electrical, fire alarm, plumbing. Heating, ventilation, and wet sprinkler fire protection with standpipes. The project is being financed by Low Income Tax Credits and state and federal historic tax credits. Coordination with the National Parks Service for federal historic review will be required.
