Specifications include, but are not limited to: EOTSSMassIT believes it has the opportunity to act as a one-stop service broker for its customers by offering a framework which tightly maps customer IaaS/PaaS requirements (including affordability, Time-to-Market, technology fit, security, regulatory, etc.) with available marketplace solutions, that enable it to most effectively meet the needs of its customer base. EOTSS MassIT willwishes to make recommendations in this regard to its Customers and, to the extent that it is the custodian of certain IT Capital funds, leverage this service broker role to best manage the deployment of these funds. Where appropriate, EOTSSMassIT will require all Executive Department agencies to use the Cloud Services procured under this RFR. The desired outcome of this RFR is for the Bidders to provide the Commonwealth flexibility so that EOTSS’MassIT’s customers may acquire the use of Cloud Services either by interacting with the selected Bidders directly to set up their required environments, with the express written authorization of EOTSS, or indirectly through MassITEOTSS, which may interact directly with the winning Bidders on the customer’s behalf.
