Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH, the department) seeks specialized health care and health safety related professional consulting services. Health care and safety specialist individuals and single member LLCs are eligible to apply. Examples of the types of specialized health care and safety consultants include: optometrist, dentist, dietician, epidemiologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, pathologist, nurse, and advanced practice nurses, and nurses and doctors who specialize in one of a range of specialties including radiology, cardiology, nephrology, gynecology, obstetrics, gerontology, pharmacy, pediatrics, adolescent medicine, perinatology, maternal health, clinical genetics, and experts in various diseases such as Huntington’s disease and HIV/AIDS and children’s special health needs, and the health effects from Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear & Explosive Device (CBRNE) threats. This list is not meant to be limiting, but to give examples of the kinds of specialized consulting services the department seeks.
