The Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC) is working with the Town of Adams under funding from a Municipal Vulnerability Grant (MVP) from the Executive Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs (EEA) to identify forest management practices for implementation that will increase carbon storage and resiliency of forests to mitigate the effects of climate change such as changing precipitation, increased fire risk, invasive insects and plants, and decreased snowpack. BRPC is seeking a qualified Consulting Team to develop recommendations for a Pilot Program to increase Best Management Practices for Carbon Storage and Resiliency.
