Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this bid is to extend to qualified applicants the opportunity to provide technical assistance (TA) to Massachusetts Early College designated programs and programs that are pending designation. In cooperation with Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Department of Highrer Education (DHE), the successful bidder will: Support the Early College Director in the development of a “community of practice” among current, and any new, Early College designees during the contract period, focusing on program implementation in content areas to be determined, especially targeting the five specific guiding principles of the Commonwealth Early College program. Activities will include but not be limited to regional convenings, webinars, and coordinating opportunities for designees to visit other programs within the state, and aggregating knowledge of best practices and effective learning from among programs Suport the process for enrollment and data reporting to assure quality inputs, as necessary. Provide technical assistance to planning grant awardees who are approved to move forward to Part B of the application process with the desired outcome of being designated and launching their designated program following September. An ability to start working immediately upon contract execution. The provider must be able to organize and deliver two professional development convenings during the term of the contract and regular technical assistance, in the forms of webinars and on-site meetings with designees and applicants. The successful bidder will demonstrate a commitment to adhering to the Early College criteria in all dealings with designees and applicants.
