Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provider shall provide necessary equipment to render acute dialysis services including but not limited to portable dialysis machines and ancillary equipment, reverse osmosis equipment (a water purification system to provide water) for a maximum of five (5) patients per treatment session, to include pretreatment, reverse osmosis, atmospheric storage, controllers, alarms, ion exchange, distribution pump, and provide backup plan and procedures in case of RO failure. Quote shall include all necessary piping, instruments, controls, hangers and supports necessary for a turnkey operating system and plumbing fittings necessary to access and utilize the Hospital’s water supply. The services shall be performed by non-physician employees or contractors of the provider, all of whom shall be duly licensed and qualified, nurses or qualified technicians competent in extracorporeal therapy including acute dialysis treatment as applicable to the particular service prescribed and in accordance with relevant state licensure requirements.
