Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Maintain appropriate insurance licenses and comply with all insurance regulations in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts • Act as a resource to the administrators of the Plan • Provide responses to any insurance plan questions that may arise • Review plan policies, certificates, and amendments as needed • Provide guidance on any new or proposed changes in the law and/or regulations governing the Plan • Assist in the reconciliation of premium payments and benefit payments • Support the DHE in the communication and distribution of plan forms and documents • Adjudicate and communicate claim outcomes per the agreed upon contracts • Provide periodic claim status reports for employee claim requests
