Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Mental Health (DMH), through this RFR is seeking to procure a year-round educational, multi-disciplinary, creative arts program for approximately one hundred and fifty (150) children and adolescents, ages six (6) through eighteen (18) years of age. Participants in this program will include child and adolescent youths who reside in DMH community-based residential, respite and therapeutic foster care programs in the DMH Northeast Area, two contracted inpatient services (currently: Cambridge Hospital Child Assessment Unit and the child/adolescent inpatient service at North Shore Medical Center in Salem; if these services relocate it is expected the creative arts program will continue to provide this service in their new location), and an Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) in Taunton. See Attachment A for a list of the cities and towns that comprise the DMH Northeast Area. As space permits and logistically feasible, youth from other DMH Areas, programs, or those living in the community or residing at home may be referred to and participate in this program.
