Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Data Center Physical Space: The data center space to be provisioned for the City of Boston must be physically separate, secured space dedicated for the City of Boston use. Physical separation can be accomplished through the use of wire mesh cage or fully demised drywall construction. Access to the space must be physically secured with the use of a mechanical or electronic lock. B. Data Center Physical Location: The colocation site must be physically located within 20 miles of Boston City Hall. C. Initial Data Center Space Requirements: The initial quantity of space provisioned must be sufficient to support the City’s current production infrastructure, including approximately eighteen (18) computer cabinets. Space layout must allow for sufficient clearance to front and rear of computer cabinets for technician access. The cabinet dimensions are approximately: H=78.40” x W=29.53” x D=42.13”. The entryway clearance height, space entrance, must allow sufficient clearance for the delivery of data center equipment such as computer cabinets, storage arrays and mainframe computers. Space entrance must be a minimum of 7’6” to allow delivery of such equipment without necessitating the tipping of the equipment for passage through the space entrance
