Specifications include, but are not limited to: Year 1: Back ground research Gap analysis Convene a group of expert stakeholders to review a first draft of a forest resilience stewardship plan format Recommendations for changes to Forest Stewardship Plan and/or supporting documents Recommendations for programming to expand knowledge of climate change as it relates to forest management, goal setting, management practices, mitigation, and other related activities. Evaluate Stewardship cost-share formula in concert with DCR to determine if value is in line with recommendations Provide DCR with reports at least quarterly as well as an annual report Year 2: Vendor will work with DCR to upgrade and enhance Forest Stewardship plan requirements for climate forestry Based on gap analysis, and expert review, vendor will work with DCR and other partners on the design of new or the distribution of existing outreach material, trainings, meetings, publications, web material, etc. to provide information to landowners, municipalities, and the consulting forester community to expand knowledge of climate change as it relates to forest management and goal setting and other related activities. It is anticipated that these activities will account for at least 70% of the year 2, task 1 allocation. Provide DCR with reports at least quarterly as well as an annual report Year 3 and beyond: Evaluate effectiveness of measures taken in years 1 and 2 Make adjustments as necessary Continue with the creation of new or the distribution of existing outreach material, trainings, meetings, publications, web material, etc. to provide information to landowners municipalities, and the consulting forester community to expand knowledge of climate change as it relates to forest management and goal setting and other related activities Provide DCR with reports at least quarterly as well as an annual report
