Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife (MassWildlife) is soliciting bids to conduct habitat restoration work on up to 108-acres at the Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area (WMA) located in Lancaster/Bolton, Massachusetts (Figure 1). The restoration work to be conducted includes mowing/mulching of small (<10’ tall) stump sprouts (primarily pitch pine) in a grassland area that was previously mowed in 2014. The management goal for these units is to maintain them as sandplain grassland natural communities with few, or in some places no, emergent tree species.
