The Contractor will perform a pump and well performance test at each location and evaluate the condition of both the wells and the pumping equipment. Voltage and amperage measurements shall be taken and recorded, together with pump discharge pressure, static and pumping water levels and capacities at four (4) operating points of the pump. The Contractor will prepare a report including the above-mentioned data and in addition specific well capacity, and pump and well efficiency. This data will be compared to any previous data. Based on the results of the evaluation, the Contractor will make recommendations and provide cost estimates for the work necessary to help keep the units operating in a reliable, efficient manner. During the annual inspection, the Contractor will provide the necessary labor and materials to change all motor oil and grease, and pump packing. f, at any time, during rehabilitation, annual inspection or at the request of the Town, the awarded contractor shall be available to provide “wear and tear” or “emergency” repairs to pumping equipment covered in this proposal. The Contractor agrees to make without additional expense, an inspection of the breakdown site within a reasonable time after notification. The contractor agrees to hold a crew available on 24 hour call to provide emergency repairs, at normal hourly rates and material costs, with markup.
