Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project, located at the Summer Street main entrance to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) will add electro-magnetic locks to the eight swing doors in the main entrance glass façade. These mag-locks will be connected to the main security system of the building. The revolving doors will remain as they are. The mag-locks will be added at the door heads. Motion sensors will be added at the interior side of each of these doors to automatically unlock the doors as someone approaches to leave. These doors will also need connections to the fire alarm and to electricity to power the magnetic locks. Power, data, and fire alarm circuits will all need to run above metal ceilings to connect to the existing building utilities.
