Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Doors and Frames 1. Thermally-broken insulated steel backed construction, fabricated with a form core insulation (CFC free polyurethane insulation with an R value of 17 or better), faced both sides with shop finished sheet steel, 2 1-3/4" integral roll-formed integral struts per section (or EQUIVALANT); wind load of equal or greater than 110 MPH. If glass is requested, Glass shall be 7/16" tempered insulated, low E-glass. Finish shall be factory baked on resistance primer with finished coat of enamel finished with color requested (or EQUIVALENT such as Kynar) 2. Weather seals: Provide continuous rubber, neoprene or flexible/adjustable weather-strip gaskets at the tops and compression able astragal at bottom of each overhead door to prevent water and air infiltration; white perimeter climate seal on sides and tops as required to ensure water and air tight seal. If using existing wood pads to mount tracks, caulk the existing "gaps" between the existing moldings and cement edifice (see 84 below) B Tracks, supports and accessories: 1. Tracks: Provide manufactures' standard regular lift, galvanized steel track system, sized for the door size and weight, and designed for clearances shown. Provide complete track assembly including brackets, bracing and reinforcing for rigid support ball bearing roller guides, for required door type. Slot vertical section track at 2" oc for the door drop safety device. Slope track at proper angle from vertical, or otherwise design to ensure tight closure at jambs when door is closed. Weld or bolt to track supports. 2. Track reinforcement and supports: provide galvanized steel track reinforcement and support members. Secure, reinforce and support tracks as required for size and weight of the door to provide strength and rigidity, and ensure against sag, sway and detrimental vibration during opening and closing of doors. Weld supports to opening by welding directly to steel jamb angles.
