The City of Attleboro seeks bids for the procurement and installation of new Signal Communications TRX50 Alarm Receivers to replace the aging Vision 21 Receivers, which are no longer being manufactured. This project will ensure continued functionality and reliability within the Attleboro Fire Department’s Dispatch Center. The awarded vendor will be responsible for the following: • Furnishing Signal Communications TRX50 Alarm Receivers to replace the existing Vision 21 Receivers • Installing the new alarm receivers in the current console rack space • Ensuring the existing Vision 21 antennas remain in use with the new TRX50 systems • Performing installation, programming, testing, and providing training on the new equipment • Coordinating with the Fire Chief to establish an installation timeline, with installation to occur within one week of equipment arrival or on a mutually agreed-upon date; Exclusions: This proposal excludes the following: • Permits (local, state, or agency) • License fees, taxes, and prevailing wages • Radio tower service • Custom interface mounting hardware or installation • IT-related configurations or network integrations (to be handled by the City of Attleboro)
