Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Participate in Needs Assessment planning meetings biweekly (i.e., every other week) check-in virtual calls (approximately 45-60 minutes in length) with BCDHS staff, the core planning group and the consultant's team to provide updates on the project, ensure the process has open communication, and allow space to discuss opportunities and challenges as they arise. 2. Engage in Secondary Data Collection: a. Develop an overview of existing behavioral health services in the county (in collaboration with BCDHS). b. Prepare a limited demographic profile of the age 0 - 21 population in Barnstable County based on existing data from the U.S. Census Bureau and other available sources. 3. Conduct a literature review to include case studies & best practices with a focus on behavioral healthcare in rural settings. 4. Plan and moderate (4) initial public forums (two in-person, two virtual) for consumers, providers and stakeholders which will include the presentation of findings from the Secondary Data Collection and the solicitation of input regarding experiences and priorities around behavioral health services for youth and young adults on Cape Cod. 5. Plan, moderate and analyze focus groups a. Develop a process for using focus groups (with consumers and providers from each of Cape Cod's sub-regions: Outer, Lower, Mid and Upper Cape Cod) to inform survey content. b. Create (2) focus group instruments-one for providers, one for consumers c. Create and implement informed consent documents d. Schedule participants for focus groups e. Facilitate (8) focus group discussions (four in-person, four virtual), with 6-10 participants in each (representing consumers and providers from each of the four sub-regions), using these groups to test and refine the data collection instruments. f. Analyze focus group data
