Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Boston is seeking a vendor to provide "Stay at Home food boxes". The boxes should include approximately food from each food grouping - fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, protein - to help meet a week's worth of basic nutritional needs of a household. The City will contract with organizations and businesses to source, pack, and deliver around 6,650 per week "Stay at Home" food boxes per week between July and September. The deliveries will be made in two different models, delivered to multiple points of distribution (approximately 3,900 boxes weekly to approximately 40 partner organizations), and delivered directly to individual households (approximately 2,750 homes). The City reserves the right to expand or contract service by increasing or decreasing the number of deliveries and quantities provided given adequate notice based on previous demand and after discussion between the Parties and an agreement of such terms.
