Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 The Department of Recreation and Parks (The County) requires the services of soccer officials for youth league games for the Fall season and Spring season. Games shall be played at designated sites throughout Anne Arundel County for approximately ten (10) weeks. Fall Season games begin in late August and the Spring Season games begin in late March. 3.1.2 Youth Soccer games shall follow the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) rules with possible modifications provided by the County. Modification of the rules shall be sent electronically to the Successful Bidder no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the start of each season. Tentative sites shall be communicated to the Successful Bidder fourteen (14) days prior to the start of each season. 3.1.3 The County shall allow a maximum bid amount per official per game from $40 to $60. The bid price includes all costs associated with the assignment and completion of the officiating duties. No other fees shall be paid to the Official or Successful Bidder. 3.1.4 At the Department’s pre-season meeting, each team shall pay the Successful Bidder the total anticipated amount for the officials for the entire season. 3.1.5 The County shall authorize the assignment of officials per game as follows: 3.1.5.1 One (1) official for 7v7 for U8, U9, U10, Girls U18. 3.1.5.2 Two (2) officials for U11, U12, U13, U14. 3.1.5.3 Three (3) officials for Boys U18. 3.1.6 The County shall authorize the length of time for games as follows: 3.1.6.1 Two (2) twenty-five (25) minute halves for 7v7 ages U8, U9, U10, and Girl’s U18 3.1.6.2 Two (2) twenty-five (25) minute halves for 11v11 ages U11, U12 3.1.6.3 Two (2) thirty (30) minute halves for 11v11 ages U13, U14, and Boy’s U18 3.1.7 The County shall have approximately a total of two thousand, three hundred games averaging two hundred (200) games per week in the Fall season. The County shall have approximately one thousand, nine hundred (1900) games averaging one hundred and eighty (180) games per week in the Spring season.
