Specifications include, but are not limited to: : The Contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide one (1) armed uniformed guard to the DVR lobby area. Guard duties: 1. Maintain order in the Division of Vital Records’ waiting room and in the public area outside the waiting room. 2. Assist customers with information and/or forms supplied by the Division of Vital Records management. 3. Respond to request for assistance by the waiting room staff and patrons. 4. Report in writing to Vital Records supervision any unusual occurrences that happen during the Shift. 5. Observe and follow all post Orders and other directives issued by the Asst. State Registrar or Designee of the (MDH) Division of Vital Records. 6. Provide copy of Training and Post Orders to Asst. State Registrar or Designee at least 14 days prior to contract go live date. Code of Conduct: While on duty, security guards assigned to this facility shall not: 1. Use excessive force to defend themselves or others when in immediate danger. 2. Engage in any unauthorized investigation or detective work not pertaining to the Division of Vital Records. 3. Eat while on duty, except during breaks or specified lunch times; such exception will be in accordance with post orders. 4. Leave the Premises without being properly relieved from duty. 5. Possess, utilize, or be under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substance. 6. Sleep or give the appearance of sleeping. 8. Receive personal visitors or telephone calls. 9. Engage in business dealings that do not pertain to securing the Division of Vital Records. 10. Engage in any political activities.
