Specifications include, but are not limited to: The primary goal of this project is to treat the currently untreated impervious surface runoff in water quality facilities to attain total maximum daily load reduction credits and to stabilize the currently eroding channels near the perimeter of the park. The Scope of Work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all coordination, scheduling, supervision, labor, tools and equipment, facility investigations, materials and supplies, incidentals, appurtenances, and mobilization required to effectively construct a sand filter with associated underdrain system, stabilization of outfalls, storm drain piping, and stake out of afforestation area as described in the Contract Documents. Work shall also include, but is not limited to, the installation of under drain piping, tree clearing and grubbing, construction entrances, restoration and stabilization of all disturbed areas, installation and maintenance of sediment control devices, maintenance incidentals necessary to perform the work as designed and approved for this project and provided under this Contract. The Contractor will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work site which may include the installation of 6’ temporary safety fencing to keep pedestrians from entering the construction site.
