Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1 All meals will be delivered by the vendor using a refrigerated truck to all the precincts (attached list titled “Exhibit 1”). 1.2 All meals, exclusive of the drinks, shall be properly packed in complete ready-to-eat serving size boxes (meal and napkin). 1.3 Beverages (juices/milk) shall be provided only in serving boxes and/or plastic containers. No metal containers. 1.4 Each sandwich for breakfast/lunch/ must have a minimum of 3 ounces of protein (but when cheese is included on the sandwich, there should be a minimum of 2 ounces of meat and 1 ounce of cheese). 1.5 The chips for snack must be a minimum of 1 ounce. 1.6 The cookies for snack for must be a minimum of 2” in diameter. 1.7 Number of meals delivered subject to change. 1.8 The capability of receiving additional meals on demand (Section 3.). 1.9 The vendor must be able to be reached for requesting additional meals between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 1.10 The vendor must be able to provide meals throughout the year with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas. 1.11 Delivery of meals to the precincts will be three (3) days a week to preserve food freshness (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Delivery of meals should be completed by 5:00 pm each day. Calls between 5:00 pm-7:00pm would be for the next delivery. 1.12 Any food delivered of poor quality, (spoiled meat, expired labels on drinks, etc.), will be immediately replaced, by the vendor, at no additional cost. This will also apply to out of date foods.
