Specifications include, but are not limited to: (a) Contractor shall cover all contents, including flooring and carpeting with drop cloths or other material suitable for protecting the area. Make necessary preparations to surfaces to make ready for paint to include minor point up, Sanding of point up and caulking and spot priming. (c) Contractor shall prep walls by repairing all scrapes, nicks, gouges and dings. Contractor shall patch and sand peeling paint on walls, doors, and frames as needed. All patching and repair shall be sanded smooth and must not be visible when painting is complete. Paint Restroom ceilings and inside of doors in restrooms also. (d) Clean mildew off Shower Ceiling before painting. Prime shower ceiling with Primer using Sherwin Williams Pro block Primer. Paint shower ceilings with mildew resistance paint products (Sherwin Williams Mildew Proof bath paint.) (e) Contractor shall apply paint according to manufacturer’s specifications. Paint previously painted ceiling, walls, doors, frames and trim in common areas lobby, halls and porches, 1 coat to match existing color scheme with Sherwin William’s products. Also paint both halls, doors and frames, dayrooms, both porches and shower rooms, restrooms and inside of restroom doors. Doors and trim must be McCormick Latex Interlock paint only. (f) The finished job shall be smooth and aesthetically pleasing without undue roller or brush marks. Contractor is responsible for daily removal of all painting materials from the site. Contractor shall leave the area free of debris after each work shift. Each evening Contractor shall move all Contractor equipment completely off site or to an area approved by the Contract Manager.
