The Vendor shall provide the equipment, tools, parts, labor, supervision, permits, and insurance necessary to administer a preventive maintenance and repair program. Maintenance and repair shall be in accordance with the following specifications. 3. The COM’s Contract Monitor monitors the daily activities of the contract and provides technical guidance to the Vendor. The COM may change the Contract Monitor at any time by written notice to the Vendor. 4. The State has the right to add or delete a microfilm reader or reader/printer and prorate any charges for the current service period. The vendor has the right to inspect, at no charge to the State, any microfilm reader or reader/printer added to the contract. The following is a list of the current equipment. B. Preventive Maintenance 1. Preventive Maintenance (PM) is defined as twice a year (semi-annual, every 180 days) to provide cleaning, adjustment, and routine services on all microfilm equipment as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. PM includes all necessary maintenance required to keep the equipment in proper and continuous operation. 2. The Vendor must provide PM twice a year during the COM’s Normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except State Holidays. A list of State Holidays can be found at: www.dbm.maryland.gov – keyword: State Holidays. 3. The Vendor must contact and schedule with the Contract Monitor each PM. The first PM must be performed within 90 days of the start date of the contract. 4. All work performed by the Vendor shall meet local, State and Federal codes and standards.
