The program includes the feasibility, programming, concept and schematic design of Phase I of the Campus Master Plan (as provided with this RFP) that includes an engineering evaluation of existing facilities and proposed phasing for the necessary upgrades to accomplish the goals of the entire Master Plan. The Master Plan includes as currently contemplated 4 stages. This RFP considers Phase I and any necessary infrastructure upgrades necessary for the other three phases to minimize any interruptions to future hospital operations during those 3 phases. Scope 0 (Zero): Feasibility and Infrastructure Assessments (Scope 0 will be contracted directly to the Owner) A. Utility Infrastructure Assessment 1. Analyze existing campus-wide utility systems (chilled water, steam, medical gas, normal and emergency power, sanitary, storm, domestic water). 2. Identify capacity constraints or upgrade requirements to support full future development. 3. Coordinate with utility providers for service availability and expansion feasibility. B. Facility Condition and Capacity Evaluation for all Phases 1. Review as-built drawings, perform site investigations, and assess existing systems’ condition and performance. 2. Evaluate and incorporate the life cycle study that BWMC is performing to include the endof-life risk and replacement strategies for core systems impacted by or supporting the new development. The selected firm will be required to integrate with current reports and findings performed by other owner consultants. Schedule and perform site surveys and gap analysis as needed to fully evaluate options to make informed design and pricing decisions
