Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall be licensed by State of Maryland to perform A/E Services. Firm/team shall be certified, and fully qualified in the field with a minimum of eight (8) years experience. In addition to specific knowledge of civil engineering and park design/development, the Contractor shall also have knowledge of ADA accessibility and safety standards, permitting requirements, surveying, geotechnical work, storm water management, sediment and erosion control, landscape architecture, contract management, etc. Contractor will act as technical representative to the County for project. The Contractor shall be responsible to perform all activities necessary to accomplish a full and complete project design. This will include meetings; collecting data; undertaking field investigations; performing surveys; performing architectural, engineering, or environmental studies; preparing reports and recommendations; preparing detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates; preparing, printing, and providing engineering drawings and contract specifications. The Contractor will also be expected to support the design, and be available for interpretation of drawings, and attend the pre-bid and other meetings as necessary to support the project.
