Specifications include, but are not limited to:Contractor to provide Snow Removal Services on roadways and parking lots. 1. Contractor shall provide equipment, service, labor and supervision necessary to perform snow removal at the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions training campus which consists of the following locations; Administration Complex (6852 4th Street), Physical Training Center (905 2nd Street), Dormitory Parking Areas (6833 & 6835 4th Street), Drivers Training Facility (DTF) (7310 Slacks Road), Firearms Training Facility (FTF) (7320 Slacks Road) Jones Building( rear access area) and parking lots associated with these facilities. 2. Contractor shall attend post-award meeting to review maps, diagrams, and discuss priority areas 3. Contractor shall provide hourly rates for snow removal services and per ton rate for salt application as outlined on bid page. 4. Contractor shall be responsible for providing markers to identify the roadways, curbs, hydrants, other obstructions, to plan for service prior to snow removal. All temporary markers shall be removed no later than April 1, 2019. 5. Contractor shall have equipment and drivers available within a 35 mile radius of the site to accurately assess conditions and shall be able to report to the site within one hour of requested service. 6. Contractor shall plow designated roadway areas, parking lots and driving pads as detailed on attachments. 7. Contractor shall commence service on roadways after snow has stopped, or upon accumulation of 2 inches or more at the facility, or when conditions pose a hazard to vehicles, as determined by the Agency. 8. The Contractor shall be prepared to provide and apply any necessary chemicals to remove snow or ice on roadways and parking lots as determined and requested by the Agency. 9. The Contractor shall provide services Monday thru Friday and may be notified to perform service when snowfall occurs on weekends or holidays 10. Contractor shall contact Dan Dazzo prior to performing services on DTF tracks or services at FTF Range training areas. 11. Contractor shall make all sites are clear and accessible for operations no later than 6:00 am on regular business days or other days as requested by the Agency. 12. Contractor shall invoice for service within 10 days of the completion of work. 13. Contractor will only be paid for work performed under this agreement. The Agency will not provide any guarantees or minimum award amount. 14. Contractor will be paid only for time spent at the Agency performing snow removal services and shall be paid no more than the listed amounts quoted on bid sheet. The Agency will not pay for travel time, rest time, lunch or break time. 15. Contractor shall be responsible for repairing any damage to State property caused by Contractor performing service. 16. Damage repairs shall be completed within a reasonable time but no later than contract end date.
