Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide an NCLEX-RN Live Review Course for students for Francis Marion University. The University estimates that at least 20 students per semester will attend the NCLEX-RN Live Review Course. 1. Courses shall be scheduled at the end of the semester in the week leading to graduation: a. Fall 2019– three consecutive weekdays approximately the second week of December. b. Spring 20120– three consecutive weekdays approximately the last week of April. c. Fall 2020– three consecutive weekdays approximately the second week of December. d. Spring 2021– three consecutive weekdays approximately the last week of April. e. Fall 2021– three consecutive weekdays approximately the second week of December. f. Spring 2022– three consecutive weekdays approximately the last week of April. 2. Minimum number of 20 students to enroll in each NCLEX-RN Live Review Course administered by offeror. 3. Course shall be provided to select FMU students at the discretion of the University. 4. Course shall be 3 days, 6-8 hours per day. 5. All facets of the NCLEX-RN review course shall be delivered by a live instructor at Francis Marion University. a. Live instructor shall be qualified as a nurse educator with Masters Degree and shall havi a minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience. 6. Course shall include an interactive learning environment and teaching strategies. 7. Content shall include: a. Select content areas. b. Planned, comprehensive review of core content. c. Test-taking strategies. d. Improving study habits. e. Practice with NCLEX-style questions, including alternative formats. 8. Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) administered to all attendees at the conclusion of the review course to aid in preparation for format of NCLEX-RN test. 9. Course workbook or review book provided to all students prior to administration of the course. 10. Review course personalized to student cohort based on standardized testing results. a. A summary of the cohort’s standardized testing results will be provided by the University.
