Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. General maintenance, repair or replacement of existing heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. This includes commercial gas and oil fired burners, heat pumps and A/C units. 2. Troubleshoot, repair and replace controls and related parts in commercial HVAC systems. This includes pneumatic controls, energy management systems and pinpointing control issues back to computerized controls such as: Johnson Controls, Carrier, Honeywell, etc. Repair through the software companies will be handled through Building Services directly. 3. Troubleshoot, change and recharge compressors in heat pumps and AC systems. 4. Troubleshoot all major components on HVAC systems including but not limited to: fans, circulator pumps, motors, and electrical components such as timers, relays, switch assemblies, fuses and contactors. 5. Thorough knowledge of gas and oil fired burners and the ability to service and clean large commercial gas and oil-fired boilers. 6. Clean and repair cooling towers and related equipment. 7. Make all piping connections during the replacement/repair processes. 8. General maintenance of existing HVAC systems. 9. Ability to obtain and utilize the latest and most modern equipment for HVAC systems repair and maintenance. 10. General clean-up of job sites and disposal of construction debris daily
