Specifications include, but are not limited to: Hardware/Software A. The Contractor shall set up a storage area network (SAN) with a minimum of 200 TB capacity within 90 days of the start of the Contract. The Contractor shall furnish adequate storage capacity for the term of the Contract, in a configuration that does not impede performance. B. The data storage facility shall have fire suppression, redundant back-up power for at least seven (7) days, and adequate cooling. The Contractor shall provide an active/passive data failover site that is at a minimum 50 miles away from any primary data center. C. The Contractor shall encrypt the SAN drives storing all Hospital Clinical and Financial Data Repository data to ensure encryption at rest and in transit. The SAN must have de-duplication capability and file compression. The SAN hardware shall consist of a minimum SAS 15K drives. The SAN shall be integrated with a Windows-based platform. D. The Hospital Clinical and Financial Data Repository and all the necessary hardware components, software and connections shall be implemented on a private cloud solution. E. The Hospital Financial Data Repository, which is approximately 10 Gigabytes, will be in a recent Windows Server and SQL Server version (migration from Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2 will be complete prior to Contract award). F. The Contractor shall furnish at no additional charge to the State a web-based file transfer software approved by the State, such as RepliWeb, for transferring data among all stakeholders. The Contractor shall furnish access to this software as directed by HSCRC, to include all hospitals, other authorized contributors, other vendors, and other authorized individuals. The Contractor shall provide access to the web-based file transfer software to periodic one-time or limited-use accounts users on as needed basis, as authorized by the HSCRC.
