Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Demolish and replace the (17) existing walk-in refrigerator/freezer boxes and the associated refrigeration system located in the basement and first floor of the Commons Building. 2. Evacuate the existing R-22 refrigerant system currently in use. 3. This existing system and associated piping will be replaced with new walk-in boxes and a refrigerant system that uses R-404/R-407A refrigerant that complies with current Federal mandates. In addition to the replacement of the walk-ins a section of the first floor slab in the kitchen underneath the walk-ins needs to be cut out and repaired. This area has been experiencing thermal shock from the walk-in coolers and structurally needs to be repaired. This work will have the affected portion of the concrete floor cut out, new deck and concrete installed and the new walk-ins installed. 4. New kitchen walk-in boxes and refrigerant system. 5. New resinous and quarry tile flooring installed in the completed walk-ins. Minor repairs to the flooring where the existing flooring meets the new. 6. Painting of (2) offices affected by construction. 7. New carpet in office 111. 8. Relocation of existing fire protection systems as indicated. Sprinkler heads and fire alarm strobes and horns relocated as shown. 9. Existing lighting relocated as shown on drawings. 10. Existing plumbing relocated/extended as shown on drawings. 11. New aluminum storefront into office 111 as shown on drawings.
